In 2023, we introduced a significant change by expanding from 50 to 100 pizzerias. In 2024, we categorized our ranking by pizza type: Neapolitan, Roman, Al Taglio, and Detroit. The 2025 ranking presents two major novelties: first, the inclusion of the Pinsa style, as a result of the great expansion this style is having worldwide, and as a second novelty, we highlight the main pizzerias joints in each of these categories (Neapolitan, Roman, Pinsa, Detroit, Al taglio).

By countries, Italy continues to make a big difference. This is an obvious matter, as it is the original country of the pizza, and it rises in this ranking from 21,3% to 25%. USA follows closely with 7%, slightly decreasing its share in the ranking, followed by countries such as Argentina, France, Spain, and Germany, which we consider reasonable due to their proximity and the cultural and gastronomic expansion. But not only this factors have been taken into account, as the ranking also includes Eastern countries like Japan or India. This diversity highlights the fact that italian gastronomy remains a global benchmark, standing out even in an international and highly competitive context.

By styles, the Neapolitan style predominates, followed by Roman, and, as previously mentioned, the Pinsa style enters the ranking strongly.
